The Hellhound, by Will Galzerano
In the realm where darkness dwells,
A tale of a creature the legend tells,
Noble, the Hellhound, fierce and bold,
A king of the undead, yet a champion of old.
His coat, obsidian, glimmers with fire,
Eyes of ember, burning desire,
With every step, the earth trembles beneath,
As he roams the night, guardian of the heath.
Born of inferno and Stygian abyss,
A beast unmatched, a force not to dismiss,
But Noble, beyond his fearsome guise,
Held a heart that yearned for paradise.
In the twilight’s embrace, he would prowl,
Amidst the shadows, his kingdom howl,
But as moonlight danced upon his back,
He sought to change the world’s dark track.
With every stride, he’d protect the land,
Against the ravages of mortal’s hand,
He guarded forests, rivers, and skies,
His mission clear, to nature harmonize.
Through ghostly fog and winding trails,
Noble’s spirit soared, relentless and hale,
He’d chase away the poisoned night,
And breathe new life with every bite.
His growl echoed through the ancient trees,
A call to all creatures, from land to seas,
They heeded his cry, a unified throng,
For Noble’s cause was noble and strong.
From fallen leaves to crystal streams,
His reign stretched wide in eternal dreams,
He taught the undead to honor the earth,
Preserving life, nurturing its rebirth.
Oh, Noble, king of the spectral realm,
Your presence, a beacon, a glorious helm,
Your loyalty, unwavering, without a cease,
Protecting all life, may you find your peace.
For in your fierce flames, a heart beat true,
A hellhound’s spirit, pure and anew,
A champion of the environment, bold and grand,
Noble, the legend, forever shall stand.
