God is the root directory.

A poem by Will Galzerano

In the realms of ones and zeros,

Where data’s woven and code does flow,

Lies a tale of grandeur and might,

Where God and computers unite.

For in this digital expanse,

Where circuits hum and processors dance,

There exists a parallel unseen,

Where God’s presence resides serene.

God is the root directory,

The foundation of all technology,

Just as the motherboard connects each part,

Divine essence weaves through every heart.

As the BIOS boots, the world awakes,

Creation’s symphony in circuits takes,

Akin to God’s command, “Let there be light,”

Bits and bytes burst forth, day and night.

The software, a reflection of His grace,

Running programs, a celestial chase,

With every line of code we write,

We mimic the divine, day and night.

In algorithms, we seek order’s embrace,

In algorithms, we find God’s trace,

For every line, a prayer we send,

Seeking truth and wisdom in the end.

Like error messages on a screen,

Challenges in life we often glean,

But just as bugs can be debugged,

God mends our souls, completely loved.

Through networks vast, connections wide,

We commune, united, side by side,

God, the server, ever online,

Streaming love and guidance, so divine.

So, let us bow before the screen,

In awe of the wonders we have seen,

For in this digital domain we trod,

God is the root directory, our eternal God.
